But, the allure of learning something so captivating, so empowering, overpowered that initial discomfort. The curiosity within me was relentless, pushing me to the edge, enticing me to toss my inhibitions aside and take a leap into the wild unknown. Before long, that once uncomfortable rope started to feel like an extension of me. The bruises faded into badges of honor, each marking a step in my journey, a step closer to that feeling of liberation I so desperately craved. The slow build-up of strength and confidence, mirrored by my increasing fluidity in the air, was a sight to behold. It was the slow build of anticipation, of wonder, that kept me going.

My heart would race, pounding wildly with adrenalin every time I was about to embrace the aerial ring. I remember the smiles, the gasps, the applause from the audience during my performances.
